For large conference convenience we are across the street from Centennial Hall Convention Center. Remodeled in the spring of 2001, the "New" Prospector Hotel is updated in traditional style with beautiful residential fabrics, lamps and accessories classic cherry wood furniture and soft cushy upholstery; and gorgeous carpet and drapery. New art work incorporating our majestic Alaskan landscape accents the decor. The Prospector Hotel offers 62 spacious rooms each equipped with a lovely cherry wood hospitality unit containing a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker with local Heritage brand gourmet coffee. In addition, each room has televisions with premium cable - including HBO, hair dryers, direct dial telephones - no charge for local calls, around the clock security, a copy of the New York Times Fax and plenty of parking with covered parking available at no charge. In the lobby from 6:30am to 9:30am, our guests will find a complimentary coffee service. In addition, we have a meeting room and catering available.
