This Northwest lodge style hotel in Bend combines golf, river, river sports, mountains, shopping with 30 boutiques, arts, crafts, & concerts, all in a hip mountain town atmosphere. The town of Bend is eclectic: fine art to funky art. String quartet to bluegrass. Tofu to Truffle Tagliatelle. It has a vibrant, eclectic downtown with boutique shops, street festivals, excellent dining options, craftsman and contemporary architecture and casual mountain-hip feel. The Riverhouse Resort has a steakhouse, and their own on-site award winning Robert Muir Graves designed 18 hole golf course, as well as a rustic log cabin used in the TV series How the West Was Won. This property is eco-aware in conserving chemicals, while using many natural control methods. The restaurant uses rice oil, no wax covered papers, and recycles all aluminum and glass, as well as using only Eco-Sure products. The Convention Center is Northwest lodge in style and sits completely separate from our resort guest rooms. The meeting conference center accommodates meetings from 1,000 down to small family reunions, has the highest current technology including live feeds, digital panels, and temperature control. The property also features elegant grand ballroom for weddings and parties and can provide fine cuisine, and a spectacular riverfront outdoor settings. Guests at Riverhouse have access to the best golfing in central Oregon, local skiing on Mt Bachelor, kayak and canoe trips, white water rafting on the Deschutes River, hiking and cycling in the foothills of the Cascades. Guest rooms are 425 sq ft, with granite countertops, fireplaces, mini fridges and microwaves, many overlooking the river. |
