Bad Rock B and B is 14 years old. It has won several awards and has a great repeat business. Its owners are world travelers with medical science backgrounds. They know what travelers want.Glacier National Park is 15 minutes away. Ideal setting for touring the park. Air conditioning in all rooms. None in the park accommodations. We feature local information and arrange for hiking, skiing, horseback riding and rafting in the park. Free use of bear spray, binoculars, rain gear and maps for guests. 95PCT of our guests in the summer are here to visit Glacier National Park.For golfing, 9 courses are available within a 20 minute drive. Golf packages are available.For Skiers, Big Mountain Ski Resort is 20 minutes to the base or free shuttle to ski shuttle bus. Blacktail Ski Resort is 30 minutes to the base.For Art and Museum buffs, Big Fork and Kalispell with dozens of galleries are 20 minutes away. Whitefish with its ski village atmosphere is only 15 minutes.Excellent dining is available in all 4 towns of Flathead valley.Back Rock B and B has both the traditional bed and breakfast setting with 3 rooms in the main house. 2 beautiful hand built cabins are also available with private baths. These cabins are not rustic from the sense of amenities or size. Each has vaulted ceilings and a large sitting area with table. Front and rear porches for sitting outside and viewing the mountains and surrounding valley. Private entrance to each cabin room so late arrivals or early departures are no problem.The rooms in the main house each have a balcony. Columbia Suite has a private entrance from its private deck area. They all have private bathrooms.A common room with satellite TV, stereo, DVD and other entertainment is open daily until 10 pm. A piano and guitars along with games and cards are available as well in the common area. An open bar is available for our 21 and older guests. Free soda and water are also available.The FOOD. We serve a minimum 3 course breakfast with fresh fruit dish to start, a hot 2nd course and a fresh baked dessert. Many choose to wrap up the dessert to take hiking with them. |
